PHOTOS: 5 Chinese illegal miners arrested on River Ankobra

5 Chinese nationals arrested on Ankobra River for illegal alluvial mining. 

The Marine Police Unit and other security officials from Western Region has arrested Nine (9) illegal Galamsey operators for using a heavy duty dredging machine for alluvial mining on the Ankobra River.

Five out of the nine arrested are Chinese nationals whilst the remaining 4 are Ghanaians.
