Fire has gutted the Kingdom
Furniture workshop at Kotobabi on the Spintex Road in Accra Thursday evening.
The fire according to reports has
caused anxiety among residents who fear it could spread to their homes.
An eyewitness, Atta Boateng
told Adom News that the fire is raging as fire service personnel try to bring it under
control.
He noted that wood and other combustible
materials in the workshop have made it difficult to bring the fire under
control.
Though residents in the area are
helping to put out the fire, Atta Boateng called for more fire tenders as the
only one there could run out of water.
But the yet-to-be
tamed, inferno is spreading to other houses close by according to reports.
