Information reaching Adom TV News indicates that a correspondent of Accra-based Peace FM in the Brong Ahafo
region, King George, also known as Abanga has been shot dead.
The 35-year old was shot dead by
unknown assailants around 4:30 PM on Thursday.
The incident, Adom TV’s Gye Nyame
reported occurred when the reporter went to conduct investigations on a
fertilizer case at Sankore.
“It was while he was returning that
he was shot dead by the unknown assailants…,” he said.
His body has since been deposited at
the Goaso Government Hospital morgue.
King George was also a Public
Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak in the region and worked at Success FM
in Goaso.
