Two people including the owner of a
four storey building that collapsed at Cantoment in Accra Saturday have been established
dead.
The owner, Prosper Adabra got killed
after the building surrendered.
Twenty two hurt persons who were stuck
under the rubble have been saved. It is uncertain under which circumstances.
Greater Accra police Public Relations
Officer, ASP Afia Tenge who confirmed this to Hwenebobo News said the bodies
were found by the police rescue team.
She noted that 19 persons rescued
were sent to the Police Hospital and 37 Military Hospital in Accra and 12 were cured
and discharged.
Seven others, ASP Afia Tenge added
are still on admission.
She said the police have begun
investigation into the occurrence.
