A photo shared on the Bank's Facebook wall shows that it will from Saturday October 1, this year open its banking hall to customers who will want to transact business on weekends.
Many banks including Fidelity Bank Ghana opens on Saturdays including holidays nationwide.
But the GCB Bank has listed some 21 selected banking halls that will be opened on October 1 this year.
It will be opened at 9am and closes at 2pm.
The bank earlier this month had extended its banking hours from 4pm to 5pm.
This moves it to allow its customers able to do business after they had closed from work.
A higher percentage of the bank's customers are office workers who close from work at 4pm.
After closing from work they cannot meet the bank opened where the customer will be able to make deposits to avoid the money being robbed.
I believe the banking time extension and yet to start Saturday banking is a plus for the customers and the bank as a whole.
As it's motor states 'Your bank for life' is indeed a reality.
