SAD NEWS: ABUSCO STUDENT, 16, battling brain tumor is dead

ABUSCO student who was battling brain tumor has died. 

He needed GH¢18,000 to carry out a surgical operation at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital which Adom FM made an appeal and solicited for some funds from its cherished listeners to support. 

Old students of Abuakwa State College have donated GH¢10,000 towards 16 year old student's surgery. 

Enough funds had been secured and series of scans and tests have been carried on him as part of the preparation for the surgery. 

But the saddest part of the matter is that, he has lost his life today at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

Adom FM’s Yaa Asantewaa Eliza Babe who was coordinating the donation this evening wrote this on her Facebook wall. 

"The Bible says we should give thanks to the Lord in all situations. Sorry to inform my friends that we lost the young man with brain tumour. He died this afternoon at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. We thank everyone for your wonderful support, it was everyone's heart desire to help him live but, the cold hand of death has taken him away. May God bless everyone !".
