Fire has
gutted a house and burnt three children to death and cause severe injuries to
their parents at Nkwanta in the Volta Region, reports say.
Oberempong-Ba Kwame Owusu, an eyewitness says the father of
three children, Kwasi Bediako popularly called Kwasi Kerosene sells kerosene
and petrol which he keeps in the house.
He says the origin of the fire is not known but the kerosene
and petrol aggravated it and causes the damage and fatalities.
Bodies of the deceased children have been deposited at the
Nkwanta Government Hospital, while the injured are also on admission in the
same hospital.
Meanwhile Nkwanta Police Commander, ASP Joseph Ackah says
they are now gathering information on the matter so he cannot comment.
