A 20-YEAR OLD S.H.S. GRADUATE HAS DRUNK POISON FOR BEEN JOBLESS FOR TWO YEARS
A 20 year old Senior High School Graduate girl by name MAAME KONADU is seriously battling her life at St. Edward Clinic at Adugyama after she has taken in a poisonous substance.
This sad incident happened at a community called Potikrom, a suburb of Ahafo Ano South in the Brong Ahafo Region.
She told Kwabena Manu that she decided to kill herself because her vision is to be a nurse in future but as she stands, her parent have not to let her vision come true.
Meanwhile she has completed Senior High School two years ago and many of her colleagues are in tertiary institutions and are getting ready for their final year.
According to her, she has struggled enough to get a job to support herself but her efforts had proved futile.
Maame Konadu noted that since she could no longer achieve her dream of becoming a nurse, she has no other option than taking her life.
"I chose that option because I don't want to suffer in future", Maame told Kwabena Manu.
