Information Hwenebobo Newsstand is getting is that the University
of Cape Coast Student Representative Council presidential candidate who was
alleged to have been funded by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC)
collapsed after he was declared last among his competitors.
Sosi as he is popularly known was among
four other aspirants who contested for the position and is alleged to have been
sponsored by the ruling NDC with an amount of Ghc 30,000; Angel news had said.
Sources say he pulled 1122 of the total
votes cast as against 2647 votes by Democrat, 2648 by Steward and 3307 votes by
Dennis.
Dennis was then declared winner whilst Sosi found himself at
the last position.
Sosi however could not bear the defeat and collapsed. He was however taken to a
nearby hospital and receiving treatment.
