The Chiefs and people of Abease in the Prang District in the Brong Ahafo Region have esntooled President John Dramani Mahama under the stool name Oseadeayo.
President Mahama was given the title during his accounting to the people tour of the region early this week following his fulfillment of a litany of promises to them.
According to the kingmakers, he gave the area a modern day Senior High School, hooked the district to the national grid, constructed roads linking the district to other areas which hitherto were cut off and embarking on a water project to provide potable water to residents among others.
They disclosed that the projects the area benefited under president Mahama, were enormous to the extent that they could take a whole day cataloguing them.
In the light of this, they conferred on him a chieftaincy title in appreciation for his contributions they indicated are unprecedented in the history of the district.
