GHANA, 'MAY DAY HOLIDAY' shifted to May 2

May 2 this year has been declared holiday in Ghana by the country's Interior Ministry.

The shift came up following May Day which will fall on Sunday.

May 1 is a day dedicated to workers in the country but this year's holiday falls on Sunday which is not a working day in Ghana.

That is why the Ministry of Interior has shifted the holiday to Monday May, 2.
