No paragliding next year if the road is not fixed — Kwahu Atibie Chief

The chief of Kwahu Atibie, who double as the Gyaasehene of Kwahu traditional area Berimah Kwame Asante Beteani II, has threatened to stop next year’s paragliding festival, if the road from Atibie town to the paragliding site (Odwenanoma Mountain) is not fixed.

Berima Kwame Asante Beteani II said this, when he spoke to Agoo Fm’s Ebenezer Kojo Nyavor (K-Lover) on Friday during Ghana This Morning a segment on the morning show “Ene Nsu Biem”  hosted by Eugene Akoto Bamfo

He said the youth had wanted to block the road this year had it not been the timely intervention of Nananom in the Kwahu Traditional area.

Nana Asante said if nothing is done about the road by the end of the year, he and his people will not allow the Tourism Ministry to hold next year’s paragliding festival at the Odwenanoma Mountain.

He lamented on the poor nature of the road for over a decade now, even though the Tourism Ministry organized the festival every year
