Officers from the National Security have allegedly carried out separate operations in Accra Thursday at facilities belonging to the opposition-inspired research outfit Danquah Institute (D.I) as well as that of a private individual Capt.(rtd) Edmund Koda, connected to a recent charge of illegal training.

The exercises were targeted at retrieving documents from the facilities, persons familiar with the situation have told kasapafmonline.

The officers invaded the Weija residence of Capt (rtd) Edmund Koda, the head of security of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo at about 4pm local time, with a similar search also carried out at D.I subsequently.

Koda’s raid happened hours after an Accra Court granted him bail for his complexity over a recent claim that he helped carried out an illegal training exercise.
He appeared in court today alongside three others (South African nationals), who were arrested this week.
