VIDEO: Nkawkaw Anglican Primary headmistress appeals for help


The Nkawkaw Anglican Primary and JHS were established in the year 1935.
Classrooms for the Kindergarten are in a deplorable state and needs renovation.
Some classes have insufficient furniture because many of them are broken but are not repaired.
Aside this condition, the 85year-old building is not disability friendly meanwhile the disability law that ensures that all public institutions are made disability friendly.
 
As a result of it condition, the 1965 old students have built them a two classroom block for the Kindergarten.

The new block is dedicated to the then Headmaster and Headmistress Mr. and Mrs.  Anoff Ntow.

The then School Prefect, Mr. Samuel Ohene-Addo who addressed the gathering called on other year groups to help hail their Alma matter.
The current Headmistress Mrs. Mercy Fosu-Mensah appealed to the Kwahu West Municipal stakeholders to come to her aid refurbishes the old structures.


However, the Kwahu West Municipal Chief Executive Dr. Alex Obeng Somuah says government cannot do it alone. He therefore called on Kwahu residents to stop building bigger hotels and help their Alma Matter.
