PHOTOS: Afoko supporters protest his suspension at party headquarters



Hundreds of supporters of the suspended National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko, have besieged the party’s headquarters to demand his reinstatement.
The supporters say they are unhappy with decision to suspend Afoko and are calling for his reinstatement. They also asked the party to allow Mr. Kwabena Agyepong to operate as the General Secretary. 
The about 200 supporters claiming to be members of the NPP, are believed were bused to the premises.
There are dozens of uniformed Police personnel at the NPP's headquarters.

A man who identified himself as the Kintampo North constituency secretary, Sheikh Dauda Muhammad said the group is yet to be notified on the venue for the said press conference.
The group from various regions in the country were met on arrival by an aide to the party's General Secretary, Davis Opoku Ansah popularly known as OPK who said he was meeting them because ‘they are executives of the party and must be accorded all the courtesies’.
This announcement coupled with an earlier invitation to the press to be gathered at the
Press Centre for a press conference by the group, has culminated in the police surrounding the headquarters of the party.
The hundreds of pro-Afoko supporters later amassed at the NPP Headquarters in Accra demanding the reinstatement of suspended NPP National Chairman, Paul Afoko.
