Kenya's vice president, William Ruto and his presidential staffers pictured running to
welcome Kenyan athletes at the airport.
The victorious athletes returned home to a hero's welcome
after they topped the medal table at the World Athletics Championships in
Beijing for the first time.

Kenya won seven gold, six silver and three bronze medals to finish top.
President Uhuru Kenyatta will receive the team for a special dinner at State House on Thursday.
The athletes will also have a public meeting on Wednesday evening at the Kasarani Complex in central Nairobi.
Among the athletes who arrived on Tuesday are deputy team captain Vivian Cheruiyot who recaptured her 10,000 metres title and history-making Julius Yego (javelin) and Nicholas Bett (400 metres hurdles).
