NDC sacks officer who sold forms to Mahama's contender, George Boateng

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sacked the administrative officer who sold forms to Mahama challenger, George Boateng.

The administrator, NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia said was sacked as a sign that the NDC was a disciplined party.

“Our party is a party of law and order and once they did not consult me when they sold out the forms, we have directed that they should no longer operate for the party..,” he announced on Thursday.

George Boateng is seeking to contest President John Mahama in the upcoming primaries of the NDC, slated for November 7, 2015.

Various party leaders have since described him as mentally challenged.
