A lady who was born without vagina
finally has one after a successful a surgical operation on her at the Komfo
Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
Yaa Mansa (Pseudo name)
said she was born without a sexual organ and she finally realized the
deficiency when she grew up.
According to her, she never had any
sexual feelings despite knowing she had a hole from which she urinated.
This compelled Mansa to consider
committing suicide because she never considered herself a lady.
But upon several considerations, she
chose to come public with her predicament and seek help which finally came
after an Adom News bulletin on her.
The twin philanthropists, Atta
Dabone Senior and Junior from Dormaa Ahenkuro in the Brong Ahafo region led her
to see Doctors at KATH in Kumasi who commenced a surgical operation on her.
During the three phased operation,
all the faulty arteries which were responsible for the absence of vagina in
Yaa Mansa were finally fixed and a new ‘hole’ created for her.
Doctors after the successful operation,
Yaa Mansa said advised her to periodically be inserting her fingers to always
get the ‘hole intact’.
“Right now, I am home to get my
wound healed but when all is done I would consider marriage and would engage in
sex too…,” she said happily.
Yaa Mansa was also very grateful to
the philanthropists and appealed to the public to come to her aide as the cost
of the medicine she needs to recuperate is very costly.
