The Tema West NPP Parliamentary candidate, Irene Naa Torshie Addo
has lost her seat to his competitor Carlos Ahenkora in a parliamentary
primaries held today at the Tema School for the Deaf campus.
Carlos Ahenkorah had earlier been
disqualified from the race following accusations that he had not nurtured the
party in the constituency.
Though
he was later cleared by the NPP’s Steering Committee, Naa Torshie Addo vowed to
appeal the decision.

Naa Torshie Addo had 273.
